Kidnapppers Collected N3.5m, Yam Tubers, Palm Oil _Family

Facts have emerged on how the three victims of Kidnapppers in Ode-Omi in the Ogun waterside Local Government Area of Ogun State were released from their captors. A family source told our correspondent on Monday that the Kidnapppers collected a sum of  N3.5m, a cartoon of schnapps, 30 litres of palm oil and 10 tubers of yam before the victims were released. The police in the state had last Friday said they  had rescued  the son of the Chief Imam of Ode-Omi, Abudulazeez Sanni and two others _ Adams  Bamidele and Jelili Adams - who were abducted last Sunday. The trio where reportedly kidnapped  on the eve of the Eld-el Adha in Ode -Omi, a boundary community between Lagos and Ogun states. Dapo Oyebanjo popularly known by is stage name D'Banj, is one of the few artists  that has come a long way in the Nigeria music industry and has managed to stay relevant since his debut in 2005. D'Banj is now making  his debut in Nollywood with Jade Osiberu's  "Sugar Rush " set for release this Christmas! The music  star  is also the executive producer of the project. CEO Luminee Denies Maltreating Her Maid

Nigerian stylist CEO  Luminee  has reacted to a viral video which showed one of her maids kneeling down under the sun and people claiming she maltreats them. Posting a video of herself  with all her maids, Luminee denies the allegation. EFCC To Arraign Woman For Receiving N22.9b From Dasuki

The  economic and financial crimes commission (EFCC) has concluded plans to arraign one Mrs Isabella Oshodin today, Monday, for allegedly receiving the sum of ₦22.9 billion  from former  National security adviser, Col. Sambo Dasuki. Oshodin will be arraigned alongside a company, Bob Shodin organization limited before a Federal high court sitting in Abuja for fraud and money laundering. A statement in Abuja on Sunday by the acting  EFCC spokesman  Tony Orilade, disclosed that Oshodin and her firm allegedly received  $57.3m and ₦2.3bn from Dasuki. According to the statement, the defendants were said to have on 16 occasions received the money in the sums of ₦500m; ₦125m;₦350m; ₦170m; ₦85m; ₦60m; ₦50m; and others totaling ₦2.366bn. Wanted Taraba Kidnapper, Wadume Begs For Prayers From Hideout

There are reports that Hamisu  Wadume, the wanted kidnap  kingpin in Taraba has called from his hideout, asking for prayers. Myyoungstarnews reports a source  close to the case saying that the suspected kidnapper  called someone on the telephone, asking for prayers. Mexico City Boils Over Alleged Police Rapes

Hundreds of women took to the streets on Friday in the Mexico city's  centre to protest violence against women. The demonstrations came after two young women had seperately claimed to have been raped by police in Mexico city overthe past two weeks.  According to dpa reports, fires broke out in several locations, including a police station and a monument to Mexican independence. Masked women also destroyed a bus stop and damaged several police cars with several people  sprayed with paint. A man punched a television reporter during a live broadcast.  Seventeen people were injured, including 14 police and two journalists, according to media reports. The demonstrators were demanding justice for two teens, who were reportedly victims of sexual assault.
